God's Blessings often benefit all people. But many of His promises are only for His own children. If you're not sure that you're a part of God's family, He offers you this invitation. The way to Christ is simple:
1. Admit that you have a need.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:23
2. Believe that Jesus is God, the Son, who paid the wages of your sin.
For the wages of sin is death [eternal separation from God]; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23
3. Call upon God.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9

Sun, October 7, 2007 - 7:55 PMSeen this one on a few other tribes.
I suggest delete.
On another tribe someone made the statement that he is in title to his opinion, which he is free to state but he should do as such without the lecture/preaching. I agree.

Re: The way to Christ is simple
Mon, October 8, 2007 - 5:08 PMI think that we should take this as an opportunity to discuss the book that gave rise to this random, unsolicited posting... The Bible.
No matter what your faith, there are few, if any documents in history that have had such a profound and continuing impact upon our world. Personally I want to study more about the forming of the bible. If I'm remembering correctly it was assembled from about 20 existing gospels at the time, by the power that became the Catholic church, that's why if you read an Ethiopian Christian bible, it's different from the version most of us are familiar with. I'm particularly keen to see f I can find the Gospel of the Magdalene, which apparently wasn't one of the one's that made the cut for some reason. -

Sun, January 27, 2008 - 7:06 AMThis guy gives directions like one of the old locals from around here- "Take a left after the old Iscariot place, then keep going to where salvation used to be, its only a few hundred cubits past there."
